The Hatuma Half Marathon on 21 September 2025 is a picturesque 21.1km course around the entire circumference of Lake Whatumā.

The course is mostly flat, with a 5km stretch of undulations around the 10-15km mark, and provides a pleasant and scenic course.

Starting and finishing at the Waipukurau Racecourse, the event is open to walkers and runners, with a half marathon and 10km and 5km options.

This is a community driven event suitable for all abilities, with the option to compete as an individual or part of a team.
